Fidus posted second-quarter net investment income of $18.69 million, up 0.3% from a year earlier, while total investment income rose 8.8% to $43.5 million.
Net investment income per share slipped 7.5% to $0.49; adjusted net investment income (non-GAAP) fell 12.3% to $0.50 per share.
Net increase in net assets resulting from operations dropped 21% to $19.96 million, while net asset value stood at $738.5 million, or $19.46 per share, at June 30.
Portfolio activity and dividends
The company invested $98 million during the quarter, received $39.2 million of repayments and realizations, and ended with a $1.4 billion portfolio across 100 active companies.
Fidus declared third-quarter dividends totaling $0.50 per share, comprising a base dividend and a supplemental dividend.
