Under the framework, Lyken.AI is expected to source enterprise workloads and define requirements; BlueFlare is to originate sites, build and operate; and FingerMotion is to sponsor and structure projects.
The MOU sets no pricing, minimum capacity, revenue commitments, exclusivity, rights of first refusal, funding obligations or development timetable.
FingerMotion holds a 9.9% stake in Lyken.AI, while Alset AI retains a 90.1% controlling stake.
Non-binding MOU for AI compute capacity in Western Canada
FingerMotion entered a non-binding, non-exclusive MOU with Lyken.AI Computing and BlueFlare Energy to align AI compute demand with behind-the-meter capacity.
The initial focus targets Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, using modular sites tied to natural gas infrastructure to speed energization.
