Finward Bancorp shareholders approved the merger agreement with First Financial at a special meeting on November 2, 2026. Under the July 21, 2026, agreement, Finward would merge into First Financial, which would be the surviving corporation; shareholders also authorized adjournments if necessary, including to solicit additional proxies supporting the merger proposal.
