U.S. title insurance firm First American Financial's FAF.N shares fall 2.4% to $74.66.
Bill Pulte, U.S. Director of Federal Housing, said on Friday that FHFA had also "expanded title insurance pilots to make sure people save on title insurance".
Elsewhere, U.S. credit reporting agencies lost ground on Friday after Pulte directed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to approve all lenders to use the credit-scoring system VantageScore.
