First Bank posted second-quarter 2026 net income of $10.9 million, up 6.05% from a year earlier; diluted EPS rose to $0.43.
Net interest income climbed 2.35% to $34.8 million; net interest margin narrowed 1 basis point from Q1 to 3.68%.
Loans, deposits and credit quality
Loans grew to $3.37 billion, up $68 million from March 31; deposits increased to $3.32 billion, up $96.2 million.
Credit loss expense dropped to $2.2 million from $5.6 million in Q1; nonperforming assets rose to $32.7 million at June 30.
