First Busey extends CEO Van Dukeman contract through July 2029

CEO contract extended through July 2029

First Busey extended Chairman, President, and CEO Van Dukeman’s leadership term through July 1, 2029.
Dukeman will remain CEO of Busey Bank, retaining his roles as FBC Chairman and President, plus bank board chairman.
He has led Busey since 2007, following a merger with Main Street Bank and Trust, where he served as CEO from 1998.
Busey’s assets rose to more than USD 18 billion from about USD 4 billion under his tenure, supported by nine acquisitions.
