Net interest margin was 3.72%, down 5 basis points from Q1; management cited lower purchase accounting accretion.
Fees, deposits and capital actions
Wealth management fees rose 3.2% from Q1 to $20 million, with assets under care at $16.51 billion.
Total deposits climbed 2.7% from Q1 to $15.13 billion; borrowings fell $184.6 million, cutting the loan-to-deposit ratio to 87.2%.
Busey repurchased 2,340,000 shares for $63.1 million; CEO Van A. Dukeman highlighted 11% annualized deposit growth, with net charge-offs at 0.19%.
