First Citizens launches Innovation Banking brand to expand services for startups, investors
First Citizens BancShares launched First Citizens Innovation Banking, rebranding Silicon Valley Bank’s Technology & Healthcare Banking division. It also launched First Citizens Fund Banking for private equity and venture capital clients.
1. New banking brands
First Citizens BancShares launched First Citizens Innovation Banking to serve startups, high-growth companies and investors in the U.S. and internationally. The brand replaces Silicon Valley Bank’s Technology & Healthcare Banking division, while First Citizens Fund Banking will serve the company’s private equity and venture capital client base. A “Where Silicon Valley Banks” marketing campaign began across digital, print and outdoor placements in select U.S. innovation markets.
