First Financial Bank names Marshall Morris CEO of Abilene Region effective Sept. 1

- First Financial Bankshares’ subsidiary First Financial Bank set a leadership transition in its Abilene Region ahead of Marelyn Shedd’s retirement on Dec. 31, 2026.
- Marshall Morris will become chairman, president, and CEO of the Abilene Region on Sept. 1, 2026, succeeding Shedd.
- The bank also promoted Evan Harris, Dayton Borger; Tracy Howle will join the region as an EVP relationship manager on Sept. 8, 2026.
