First Tellurium subsidiary PyroDelta Energy features on US drone podcast

First Tellurium’s subsidiary PyroDelta Energy was featured on the US-based Drone Radio Show podcast on July 21.

PyroDelta outlined plans to demonstrate a tellurium-based thermoelectric drone ahead of the DARPA Lift Challenge.

Engineering head Michael Abdelmaseh said the thermoelectric modules could cut weight, raise payload capacity, and extend range by converting waste heat into power.

PyroDelta said it shifted to a higher-horsepower engine design, targeting a lower combined engine-and-fuel weight.
