FirstService Residential has taken over management of The Code, a five-story, 178-unit hotel-residence in Austin’s Zilker neighborhood, overseeing day-to-day operations and resident services for the design-forward property. Its Illinois division donated $60,000 and rebuilt a playground at Lurie Children’s Hospital, supporting child health initiatives.
1. Assumes Management of The Code in Austin
FirstService Residential assumed operational control of The Code, a five-story, 178-unit hotel-residence community in Austin’s Zilker district. The agreement covers all day-to-day property management, resident services and system integration, leveraging FirstService’s high-rise expertise to support hospitality-style amenities including concierge services, resort-style pool, rooftop terrace, co-working areas and wellness spaces.
2. Illinois Division’s $60,000 Donation to Lurie Children’s Hospital
FirstService Residential’s Illinois arm contributed $60,000 to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and led the rebuild of a playground at All Star Kids Academy. The donation, funded through the In Good Company program, culminated in a May 1 dedication event and reinforces the company’s commitment to community engagement and child health initiatives.
