- Fitch affirms United States of America at 'AA+'; outlook stable.
- Fitch on U.S.: forecasts growth to remain relatively resilient at 1.9% in 2026-2027 but down from 2.8% in 2025.
- Fitch: United States' rating supported by large economy, high per-capita income, dynamic business environment and exceptional financing flexibility.
- Fitch on United States of America: labor demand has weakened, and job creation has dropped significantly in 2026.
- Fitch on U.S.: we expect inflation to move toward target by year-end 2028.
- Fitch on U.S.: gridlock and government shutdowns may become more likely and possibly more protracted as well.
- Fitch on United States of America: fiscal pressures will increase as Medicare and Social Security expenditures expand by nearly 1 pp of GDP by 2032.
