Five Star Bancorp posted net income of $19.4 million, up 4.18% from the prior quarter; diluted EPS rose to $0.91 from $0.87.
Net interest income climbed 6.04% quarter-on-quarter to $46.08 million, while net interest margin narrowed 7 basis points to 3.63%.
Loans held for investment increased $306.29 million, up 7.27% from March 31, to $4.52 billion; deposits rose $330.03 million, up 7.38%, to $4.8 billion.
Nonperforming loans as a share of loans held for investment rose to 0.30% from 0.07% on one $11.4 million Community Reinvestment Act loan moved to non-accrual.
A $0.25 per share cash dividend was paid during the quarter; an additional $0.25 dividend was declared for payment on Aug. 10.
