Fluence Energy names Axel Meier interim CEO, replacing Julian Nebreda
FLNC•Fluence Energy named former Siemens Smart Infrastructure CFO Axel Meier interim CEO, replacing Julian Nebreda, and appointed Ricardo Roizen interim CFO in place of Ahmed Pasha. Marco Boos will become chief customer success officer on November 15.

Fluence Energy named former Siemens Smart Infrastructure CFO Axel Meier interim CEO, effective immediately, replacing Julian Nebreda. Former AES Andes CFO Ricardo Roizen also becomes interim CFO immediately, replacing Ahmed Pasha. Marco Boos, a former Siemens operations executive, becomes senior vice president and chief customer success officer on November 15, replacing John Zahurancik.
2. Operations oversight
Bernerd Da Santos will lead the operational transformation, focusing on execution, supply chain and customer delivery. A manufacturing and operations oversight committee comprises manufacturing veterans Stephan May, as chair, and Elizabeth Fessenden, along with energy finance veteran Stephen Coughlin.
