Fluor wins GPIC FEED contract for Bahrain aromatics plant
FLR•Fluor wins FEED contract from GPIC
Fluor won a front-end engineering and design contract from GPIC for a new aromatics facility in Bahrain.
The project expands GPIC’s Sitra complex, which currently produces ammonia, urea and methanol.
Planned output is about 1,200,000 metric tons of paraxylene per year and 500,000 metric tons of benzene per year.
