1. Deleveraging outlook
Flutter’s CEO said the company is very confident in its ability to deleverage towards its target range over the next 12 to 18 months. He said Flutter is not financially constrained following a new refinancing and is very comfortable with its financial position.
2. Prediction product and expansion
The CEO said Flutter has made big improvements to its prediction market product, which was not in great shape earlier this year. The company will invest in the product only when the economics make sense, with investment expected to continue into 2027; it is biasing toward states with greater prospects for future sports betting regulation.
3. Other plans
Flutter does not expect to be involved in big-scale mergers and acquisitions in the short term, though it is interested in opportunities in the medium term. The CEO said the company feels good about the long-term prospects of new U.S. sports betting state openings, but expects them to be spiky.
