- Facility aims to bring in-house over USD 5 million a year of pilot training spend currently paid out of state.
- Expansion is designed to shift a larger share of the company’s more than USD 75 million annual maintenance spend back to North Carolina.
- Funding was authorized under Senate Bill 257, signed into law on July 7, 2026; the TransPark Authority will own the facility under a long-term lease.
