FNB has been named the official and exclusive provider of retail banking and financial services for Penn State University campuses, collectively serving nearly 90,000 students and 36,000 employees. The agreement grants FNB keystone partner status and prominent branding across university facilities and digital channels.
2. Digital and On-Campus Services
Under the partnership, FNB will open a technology-forward on-campus branch and deploy ATMs with video TellerChat, while offering 24/7 access through its eStore platform, enabling single-form applications for more than 50 deposit and loan products.
3. Financial Education and Specialized Products
The bank will deliver its Financial Insights literacy program with online and facilitator-led modules, launch Penn State–branded student checking accounts, and extend discounted services and benefits to university employees through FNB Workplace Banking Solutions.
4. Local Market Impact and Launch Timeline
Drawing on over 100 years in the State College community with 55 nearby branches and 75 ATMs, FNB plans to launch services this summer, a move expected to enhance its regional deposit volume and fee-income from expanded university engagements.
