1. Partnership Launch
Ford Motor Company has partnered with onX to provide owners of 2017 and newer modem-equipped vehicles in the U.S. a complimentary one-year membership to onX Offroad, onX Hunt, onX Backcountry Elite and onX Fish Midwest. The initiative runs from March 31, 2026 through December 22, 2028 and includes integrated app support via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
2. onX App Suite Features

Users can download offline maps to maintain navigation in no-service areas.
3. Eligibility and Offer Terms
Eligible customers must be new onX subscribers with Ford vehicles equipped with an active modem and manufactured in 2017 or later. Memberships require credit card activation, automatically renew after the free year and are not available to those with prior onX app memberships within 12 months of activation.
4. Strategic Implications for Ford
This collaboration advances Ford’s push toward software-driven personalization and enhances the ownership experience for adventure vehicle buyers. The integration underscores Ford’s investment in connected services, potentially bolstering software revenue streams and customer loyalty in its off-road segment.
