Foresight’s V2X System Achieves Ultra-Low Latency, Scalability in Bordeaux Transit Trial
Eye-Net Mobile’s SafeCycloMove V2X collision-prevention system demonstrated ultra-low latency, high positioning accuracy and full scalability under heavy load during a large-scale live trial across Bordeaux’s public bus and cycling network with Renault Group, Orange and other partners. Foresight begins advanced commercial discussions to pursue joint commercialization across European urban transportation.
1. Trial Overview
Foresight’s majority-owned subsidiary Eye-Net Mobile led the SafeCycloMove project in Bordeaux, integrating its V2X collision-prevention solution across buses and cyclists. The live trial involved Renault Group, Orange, Keolis and other collaborators, covering the entire public transportation network to assess real-world system readiness.
2. Technical Performance
The trial validated key technical parameters, including sub-100ms end-to-end latency, centimeter-level positioning accuracy, stable real-time communications and seamless scalability under peak network load. Eye-Net’s SDK was embedded in multiple apps—Orange’s mobility platform, Keolis’ TBM cycling app and Atos’ onboard bus system—to deliver coordinated collision alerts.
3. Commercial Next Steps
Following these positive results, Foresight has initiated advanced commercial discussions with strategic partners to explore phased rollout across European urban transit systems. The company aims to finalize joint commercialization agreements and begin deployment pilots in major cities during 2026.
