Forte Biosciences Q2 FY26 net loss widens 107.4% to $23.33 million

Cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments totaled USD 198.5 million as of June 30, 2026; a USD 172.5 million equity offering closed in April.
The company also entered a merger agreement with argenx for a USD 77 per share cash tender offer; the offer began Aug. 6, 2026.
Q2 loss widens as operating expenses rise
Forte Biosciences posted a wider net loss of USD 23.33 million for Q2 2026, up from USD 11.25 million a year earlier.
Operating expenses more than doubled to USD 24.6 million, led by research and development spending rising to USD 22.34 million from USD 8.62 million.
R&D climbed due to USD 12 million higher manufacturing and clinical costs for FB102 trials, partly offset by lower G&A at USD 2.27 million.
