Forward Air names Christine Gorjanc independent board chair as Jerome Lorrain steps down as executive chairman

Forward Air said Executive Chairman Jerome Lorrain resigned effective July 10, 2026, and will remain on the board as a director.
Christine M. Gorjanc, a current board member, was named independent chair effective the same day.
Equity awards treatment
Lorrain’s outstanding restricted stock awards will continue vesting while he remains on the board.
His performance-based equity awards, including a one-time award tied to the strategic review, will be forfeited on the effective date.
