Fox names Nicholas Trutanich general counsel effective Dec. 1
FOXA•Fox Corporation says Nicholas Trutanich will become general counsel effective Dec. 1, 2026. Adam Ciongoli will step down that day and serve as a special adviser through June 2028.

Fox Corporation Chief Legal and Policy Officer Adam Ciongoli will step down Dec. 1, 2026, without renewing his contract, and transition to special adviser through June 2028. Nicholas Trutanich, currently executive vice president and principal deputy general counsel, will become general counsel and report to Lachlan Murdoch. Kristopher Jones, executive vice president and head of government relations, will report directly to John Nallen effective Dec. 1.
