Franklin Templeton names Liz Hogbin head of global product in client group reshuffle

Franklin Resources named Elizabeth “Liz” Hogbin head of global product, effective Sept. 30, 2026, consolidating product strategy, development, positioning and commercialization.

Hogbin joins from T. Rowe Price, where she led the global product organization; earlier roles included Wellington Management, Bain and McKinsey.

Rene Buehlmann was appointed head of Asia Pacific, effective Sept. 21, 2026, to lead the regional business from Hong Kong and Singapore.

Buehlmann previously served as global CEO of Aberdeen Investments and spent nearly three decades at UBS, including leading UBS Asset Management in Asia Pacific.

ETF head Patrick O’Connor will become vice chairman of the global client group, advising on solutions, innovation, strategy and Asia ETF expansion.
