Frequency Electronics posted a net loss of $903,000 for fiscal 2026, or $0.09 a share, compared with profit in the prior year.
Revenue fell 9.43% to $63.23 million.
Fourth-quarter performance and outlook
For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, the company reported a net loss of $4.91 million, or $0.50 a share, versus a profit a year earlier.
Revenue fell 22.96% to $15.4 million, while operating results swung to a $6.35 million loss.
Funded backlog climbed to a record $111 million, up 34% sequentially and 59% from a year earlier.
The company set targets for fiscal 2029 of at least $150 million in revenue, 50% gross margin and 30% operating margin.
Management also said it restructured the unit, taking a inventory write-down, and said fiscal 2027 revenue growth should start in the first quarter.
