Fresenius raises 2026 outlook for second time after strong Q3
Fresenius raised its 2026 outlook after third-quarter results exceeded expectations, targeting core EPS growth at the upper end of its 10%-15% forecast and an EBIT margin above 11.5%.
1. Higher 2026 targets
Fresenius raised its full-year expectations after reporting higher-than-anticipated third-quarter results, supported by strong performance at its Kabi and Helios divisions. It now expects 2026 constant-currency core EPS growth at the upper end of its 10%-15% forecast and an EBIT margin above 11.5%, compared with around 11.5% previously.
2. Second upgrade this year
The company’s latest outlook increase is its second this year, following a core EPS target increase in August. Fresenius is seeking to improve profitability and reduce debt under CEO Michael Sen’s turnaround strategy.
3. Contrast with former unit
Fresenius still owns a 25% stake in former unit Fresenius Medical Care, which cut its operating income outlook after a third consecutive quarterly decline in U.S. treatment volumes.
