FuelCell Energy names new CFO; shares take a hit
FCEL•FuelCell Energy appointed Matthew Latino as CFO, succeeding Michael Bishop in a planned leadership transition. Shares fell 7.3% to $19.15 in premarket trading.
1. Leadership transition
Latino joins from water technology firm Xylem, where he served as senior vice president of finance and segment CFO for its Measurement & Control Solutions business. Bishop will remain a senior adviser through FuelCell Energy's 2027 annual shareholder meeting to support the transition.
2. Analyst ratings
Six of 11 brokerages rate the stock buy or higher, three rate it hold and two rate it sell; the median price target is $22. Shares were up more than 180% year to date through the prior day's close.
