July 27 (Reuters) - Fury Gold Mines FURY.TO said on Monday that exploration and drilling activities have resumed at the Eau Claire project in Canada's northern Quebec after a wildfire near the project halted operations.
- The Canadian firm said that all workers had safely returned to the site following confirmation that conditions were suitable for operations.
- The temporary shutdown, first disclosed on July 15, did not have a material impact on the company's previously announced Phase 2 drill program at Eau Claire, the gold exploration company said.
- Fury Gold added that it is continuing to monitor the situation and remains in contact with local authorities.
