Gabelli Multimedia Trust Maintains $0.88 Annual Distribution with Monthly $0.07–$0.08 Payouts
GGT•Gabelli Multimedia Trust’s board approved continuation of its $0.88 per share annual distribution, equivalent to a 21% cash-on-cash yield, through fixed monthly payouts. It declared July, August and September distributions of $0.07, $0.07 and $0.08 per share and no longer relies on exemptive relief for managed distributions.
1. Board Approves $0.88 Annual Distribution
The Board of Directors approved continuation of fixed monthly cash distributions totaling $0.88 per share for 2026, representing a 21% annual cash-on-cash yield. Under this policy, the Fund will pay $0.22 per share each quarter in monthly installments of $0.07 for the first two months and $0.08 in the third month.
2. Q3 2026 Distribution Schedule
Distributions for July, August and September 2026 have been declared at $0.07, $0.07 and $0.08 per share, respectively. Record dates are set for July 17, August 17 and September 16, with payable dates on July 24, August 24 and September 23.
3. Distribution Funding and Tax Treatment
The Fund intends to distribute investment company taxable income, realized net short-term gains and annual long-term gains, with potential return of capital components. Distribution levels may vary and final tax treatment details will be provided on Form 1099-DIV in early 2027.
