Galectin Therapeutics submitted a registrational Phase 3 protocol to the FDA for belapectin in MASH cirrhosis with portal hypertension. The company said its three presentations at the AASLD Liver Meeting, scheduled for Nov. 5-9, 2026, will include analyses of noninvasive risk models for predicting variceal development and their alignment with invasive pressure measurements.
