Gap Launches Get Blue Denim Collection, Donating $5 per Item to Water.org
GAP•Gap is launching a limited-edition Get Blue Collection of denim, tees and sweats, donating $5 per purchase to Water.org to fund small loans for home water access. Since 2016, Gap has saved over 6 billion liters in its supply chain and will offer the collection online and in select stores.
1. Campaign Partnership Launch
Gap has joined Water.org alongside Starbucks, Amazon and Ecolab to create the Get Blue community, turning everyday shopping and donations into funding for safe water access. The initiative aims to expand water and sanitation loans to underserved families by leveraging brand collaborations.
2. Gap’s Limited-Edition Get Blue Collection
Today marks the debut of Gap’s Get Blue Collection featuring reimagined denim, tees and sweatshirts across adult, kids and toddler sizes. Each item sold triggers a $5 donation to Water.org and will be available in select Gap stores and online at gap.com.
3. Impact Mechanism and Water Savings
Gap has reduced over 6 billion liters of water in its supply chain since 2016 and will channel Get Blue proceeds into Water.org’s microloan program, which boasts a 98% repayment rate. Donations support small, affordable loans for household plumbing, enabling families to secure lasting home water connections.
