Garmin acquired two adjacent hangars totaling approximately 75,000 square feet at Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa, Arizona. The complex includes office space for around 75 associates and benefits from the airport’s three parallel runways, two over 10,000 feet long and year-round clear weather conditions.
2. Enhanced Certification and Test Operations
This facility expands Garmin’s aircraft certification and flight test capacity, complementing existing centers in New Century, Kansas, and Salem, Oregon. The company anticipates hiring experienced engineers and flight test personnel to accelerate airworthiness approvals and support growth in its aviation business segment.
