GE Aerospace outlined plans to acquire Consolidated Precision Products for $11.75 billion, targeting a close in the second half of 2027.
The deal is pitched as expanding mission-critical castings capacity as airfoil demand is projected to rise more than 30% through 2030.
CPP forecast 2027 revenue of about $2 billion, with roughly 60% from commercial aerospace and about 20% from defense.
GE Aerospace said the transaction is expected to be adjusted EPS and free cash flow accretive in year one, excluding one-time costs, and expects more than $200 million of net synergies. The deal would be financed with existing cash and new debt.
