GE Aerospace raises 2026 profit forecast as services strength drives growth
GE•GE Aerospace raised its 2026 adjusted earnings forecast to $8.00-$8.10 per share from $7.65-$7.85, after reporting quarterly adjusted profit of $2.25 per share and 21% revenue growth in its commercial engines and services unit.
1. Higher earnings outlook
GE Aerospace now expects 2026 adjusted earnings of $8.00 to $8.10 per share, up from its prior forecast of $7.65 to $7.85 and above analysts’ $7.92 consensus estimate. CEO Larry Culp said the company is raising its 2026 guidance across the board and expects 2027 commercial services to grow at a low-double-digit rate, supported by a backlog exceeding $170 billion.
2. Services drive growth
Revenue at GE Aerospace’s commercial engines and services unit rose 21% to $10.34 billion, driven by aftermarket demand. The company raised its 2026 revenue growth forecast for the segment to the low-20% range from about 20%; parts and services account for more than 70% of its commercial engine revenue.
3. Demand and fuel costs
GE Aerospace said demand for spare parts continues to outstrip supply and that much of its 2026 engine shop-visit work is under contract. Airlines are facing higher jet fuel costs following disruptions to oil shipping routes, but finance chief Rahul Ghai said last month the company had seen no changes to airlines’ fleet plans and parked aircraft remained low.
