The Limestone project is part of a $1 billion plan spanning 30 U.S. manufacturing sites in 17 states for 2026. Investments include $45 million at an Auburn facility to install 3D printers, machining stations and inspection equipment, reinforcing nationwide production capabilities.
3. Production Capacity and Job Growth
This capital outlay follows a $22 million Limestone expansion in 2025 that created 84 new jobs. GE Aerospace plans to hire 5,000 additional manufacturing and engineering staff across these sites, underpinning future aerospace output.
