GE HealthCare agrees to buy SOFIE Biosciences for $945 million in cash
GEHC•GE HealthCare agreed to buy SOFIE Biosciences from Trilantic North America for $945 million in cash. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
1. Deal details
SOFIE would join GE HealthCare’s Pharmaceutical Diagnostics segment. The acquisition adds a U.S. PET supply network with 15 sites operating 21 cyclotrons and includes U.S. rights to Phase III PET radiotracer FAPI-74, for which GE HealthCare already holds rights outside the United States.
2. Customer supply
SOFIE is expected to continue supplying PET products to existing customers, including products from other radiopharmaceutical providers.
