GE Vernova was chosen by Powergrid Corporation of India to deliver a 6 GW HVDC transmission corridor featuring a ±800 kV bipolar link between Barmer II and South Kalamb.

1. Project details

The project will feature GE Vernova’s most advanced LCC valve, which will be manufactured at its Pallavaram factory in India.
