GEN Restaurant Group expands distribution through UNFI deal with SoFi Stadium, Olé City Market
GENK•GEN Restaurant Group expanded distribution of its ready-to-cook Korean BBQ meats through new accounts, lifting its retail footprint to more than 2,000 U.S. locations.
1. New distribution accounts
New accounts include Vallarta Supermarkets, UCLA dining and SoFi Stadium. The UCLA and SoFi Stadium placements mark GEN’s first entry into university foodservice and live entertainment venues for its consumer packaged goods business.
2. UNFI distribution
SoFi Stadium sources GEN products through the company’s national distribution agreement with United Natural Foods, which extends access to additional retailers and venues.
