On March 24, Genco Shipping completed delivery of the Genco Valkyrie, the second of two 2020-built, 208,000 dwt scrubber-fitted Newcastlemax vessels agreed in November 2025. This addition brings the fleet to 45 vessels with an aggregate capacity of approximately 5.04 million dwt and an average vessel age of 12.8 years.
