Genentech plans major Hillsboro manufacturing expansion
Genentech, part of Roche, outlined plans to invest about $750 million to expand its Hillsboro, Oregon manufacturing campus.
The project adds a device fill-finish facility for pre-filled syringes and autoinjectors, strengthening end-to-end U.S. manufacturing capability.
The expansion doubles the site’s size and is expected to create 250 manufacturing jobs and 200 construction jobs.
Commercial operations are slated to start in 2031.
