GM’s board approved a $29,895,868 compensation package for CEO Mary Barra for 2025, marking a 1.3% increase over her 2024 pay. The package comprises a $2.1 million base salary, $21,623,970 in stock awards, $4,956,000 in incentive plan compensation and $1,215,898 in other benefits and payments.
2. One-Time Hire Award for Sterling Anderson
Chief Product Officer Sterling Anderson received a one-time hire award totaling $40 million, payable through July 29, 2027. Anderson earned $16 million in cash and stock last year, including a $583,333 base salary, and can earn up to an additional $24 million by meeting defined company objectives post-2027.
