Genesis Energy's Q3 net income falls on higher expenses
GEL•Genesis Energy reported Q3 revenue of $449.25 million, net income of $14.41 million and adjusted EBITDA of $130.50 million. It expects 2026 adjusted EBITDA near or below the low end of its original guidance.
1. Quarterly results
Genesis Energy's Q3 revenue rose year over year, while net income declined on higher expenses. Offshore pipeline segment margin fell because of lower volumes from planned and unplanned maintenance and underperformance at some fields, including operational challenges at Shenandoah. Marine and onshore transportation margins increased on higher utilization and volumes.
2. 2026 outlook
The company expects 2026 adjusted EBITDA near or below the low end of its original guidance. It expects lower offshore pipeline volumes to continue into early 2027 until new wells come online, while robust marine transportation utilization and rates are expected to persist, with no major dry-docks until 2027.
