GenFlat entered a deal with Vietnam-based Group Global One for a 90-day commercial trial of collapsible marine containers.
The trial includes eight 40-foot-high cube containers, supported by two “Gennies” used to collapse or expand the units.
Deployment across Group Global One’s logistics operations targets lower empty-container storage, handling, and repositioning costs; four collapsed units fit one standard slot.
Group Global One plans a live demonstration in Ho Chi Minh City in October 2026 for regional shipping lines, port operators, and officials.
