1. Broker Sees Genus PLC on Track for FTSE 100

Panmure Liberum’s house broker update indicates that Genus PLC’s trading momentum, especially in its PIC pork division, has outpaced initial expectations. Management reports that trading conditions in key markets remained stronger for longer, driven by double-digit volume growth in China and mid-single-digit volume improvements in Latin America during the first half of its 2026 financial year. Deutsche Bank has subsequently raised its price target for Genus from 3,100p to 3,300p and reiterated a buy recommendation, citing resilient demand for breeding stock and a recovering margin profile as feed costs stabilize. Panmure Liberum further projects that, if current trading trajectories persist, Genus could achieve FTSE 100 status by 2030, supported by a pipeline of genetics R&D and incremental gains in its dairy segment.

2. Genius Group Debuts Future-Focused School Model

Genius Group Limited has launched its ‘Genius School’ model at ProEd Global School in Bali following its November 2025 acquisition of a 51% stake from Nuanu Creative City. The initiative integrates an AI-powered curriculum and ‘Genius Apprentice’ program across primary, middle and secondary levels, aiming to equip students with the eight Future Skills defined in the World Economic Forum’s ‘Schools of the Future’ white paper. Since opening, ProEd has reported a 20% uplift in new enrollments across its Umalas and Nuanu campuses. CEO Roger James Hamilton emphasizes that the program combines personalized, self-paced learning with technology, creativity and global citizenship, and is designed to be profitable from day one. Plans are underway to seek International Baccalaureate accreditation and replicate the model in other Asia Pacific markets by mid-2027.
