Genprex research links low TROP2 expression to Reqorsa resistance in lung cancer

GNPX•Genprex said low TROP2 expression was associated with resistance to its experimental Reqorsa gene therapy in preclinical models and an analysis of pretreatment tumor biopsies from clinical trial patients. The findings will be presented Nov. 18, 2026, and further research is needed to establish TROP2’s predictive value.
Genprex identified TROP2 expression as a potential predictor of response to Reqorsa, its experimental gene therapy for non-small cell lung cancer. Low TROP2 expression was associated with treatment resistance in preclinical models, supported by analysis of pretreatment tumor biopsies from clinical trial patients. The findings will be presented Nov. 18, 2026, at the EORTC-NCI-AACR Symposium in Barcelona; further research and prospective clinical evaluation are needed to establish TROP2’s predictive value.
