Genuine Parts named board member Court Carruthers CEO-elect, effective immediately, ahead of the planned first-quarter 2027 separation.
Carruthers most recently ran packaging distributor TricorBraun; previously held senior roles at W.W. Grainger, including Group President, Americas.
Board member Jean-Jacques Lafont was appointed non-executive chairman-designate for the post-separation automotive business.
EVP and CFO Bert Nappier was named EVP, chief financial and operating officer, effective immediately.
Will Stengel will move to chair and lead Motion at separation; James Howe becomes president and COO, Howard Yu joins as CFO.
