Genuine Parts Q2 FY26 net income falls 10.73% to USD 228 million

Genuine Parts posted Q2 net income of $228 million, down 10.72%, as diluted EPS fell 9.84% to $1.65.
Net sales rose 6% to $6.5 billion, driven by 3.4% comparable sales growth plus a 1.4% foreign-currency lift.
Adjusted diluted EPS increased 2.38% to $2.15, reflecting $69 million of after-tax restructuring and separation-related adjustments.
Guidance and separation plan
GPC reaffirmed 2026 adjusted EPS of $7.50 to $8.00, while trimming GAAP EPS to $5.90 to $6.40.
CEO Will Stengel said the company remains on track to complete its planned separation in Q1 2027.
