Genworth controller Woodell resigns, CFO Upton to serve as interim principal accounting officer

Genworth Financial Controller Darren W. Woodell plans to resign in early November 2026. CFO Jerome T. Upton will serve as interim principal accounting officer after Woodell’s departure.

1. Leadership transition

Woodell plans to leave to pursue a new opportunity and will remain in his role until Genworth files its quarterly report for the period ended Sept. 30, 2026. Upton will take over as interim principal accounting officer upon Woodell’s departure.
