GeoPark secured a three-year Helmerich & Payne rig deal for Vaca Muerta; first spud is targeted for late 4Q2026.
The company said it applied to Argentina’s RIGI investment regime, targeting growth from 1,500 to 20,000 boepd in three years on more than $1 billion of investment.
Second-quarter production broadly flat
GeoPark posted 2Q2026 average production of 27,271 boepd, broadly flat versus 27,249 boepd in 1Q2026.
Colombia output held at 25,871 boepd, up 0% year over year; Argentina contributed 1,400 boepd.
Llanos 123 production rose 1.7% quarter over quarter to 3,171 boepd; up 57.9% from 2Q2025.
