GeoPark Q2 revenue rises 12% on higher oil prices

GeoPark said second-quarter revenue rose 12% sequentially to $143.3 million on higher realized oil prices. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter increased 3% from the prior quarter to $73.1 million, while operating income was $40.8 million and capex totaled $76.4 million.
The company said net income declined from the prior quarter, citing higher operating costs and the absence of the prior quarter's non-recurring gain.
